HOW IMPORTANT MOBILE IS TO AUSTRALIAN CONSUMERS
Recent Google research shows that smartphone penetration in Australia is now 65%. A September 2013 Ipsos study in the role of mobile in the buying process found that 61% of consumers who used a smartphone during the purchase phase found it “extremely/very important” to be able to call the company during that process. 52% of the 3000 study participants also found it equally important to be able to call during the research phase.
